Michael W. Arrington, Esquire, is the managing partner of the Wilmington office of the Delaware firm of Parkowski, Guerke & Swayze. Mr. Arrington practices in a wide range of litigation and appellate areas but focuses significant time on domestic relations matters including domestic violence, civil protection orders, child abuse, guardianship, and termination of parental rights. Mr. Arrington previously served eight years as the Director of Special Court Services for the Family Court of the State of Delaware with responsibility for developing programs in juvenile justice, domestic violence, and child abuse, including the Dispositional Guidelines for Juveniles and protocols for implementing the Delaware Protection From Abuse Act, Court Improvement Project, and the Family Court Performance Standards and Measures. In addition to serving as chair of the Juvenile Justice Advisory Group, Mr. Arrington continues to serve as a consultant to the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges. He is admitted to practice in Delaware, Maryland, District of Columbia, and the United States District Court for the District of Delaware. He is a member of the Delaware State Bar Association, Family Law Section, Pro Se Litigants Assistance Committee, American Bar Association, and Rotary Club of Wilmington.
