CJC Public Hearings
About: The Delaware Criminal Justice Council is mandated to offer Public Hearings four times per year. These events pose opportunities for members of the public to provide public comment and pose questions to members of the CJC Board.

Each Hearing features a panel of CJC Board Members who represent various agencies and stages of criminal justice involvement. Show up to hear and comment about trends & issues in Delaware’s Criminal Justice System. These events are free and open to the public.
Kent County Public Hearing: 6pm on August 19, 2026 at Dover High School (Auditorium), 1 Dover High Drive, Dover, DE, 19904

Public Hearings have no formal agenda and typically last between 15 and 90 minutes, depending on the number of public comments.
A typical format is:
- Welcome and Panel Introductions
- Brief overview of the CJC
- Public Comment
