As CJC subrecipients transition fully from Egrants to the new Grants Management System, below are some of the most common questions we get asked. If you are unable to locate the answers to your questions please reach out via email to the CJC Grant Support Team. We will make sure it is directed to the appropriate CJC Staff to help answer your questions.

No. All grant programs loaded into Egrants will stay in Egrants. Only NEW federal and state awards will be loaded into SmartSimple.

Yes. Any individual within your organization who is responsible for managing grants (application, program reports, financial reports, modifications, etc.) will need to register. Agencies can invite new users themselves! Follow the step-by-step instructions on our Grants Management System Training & Technical Assistance page under “Organization & User Registration”

No. An organization can have as many users as they wish associated with their organization. They can manage this list of users in the Grants Management System. After logging in, click on the “My Organization’s Profile” icon. Then, select “Contacts” in the right hand column. A full list of registered users with your organization will be available.

The new CJC Grants Management System has the functionality to assign a contact as being associated with multiple agencies. This functionality can only be completed by CJC staff. Please email CJC Grant Support for assistance with this request. A guide to manage access will be provided in the near future.

Someone in your organization already registered in the grants management system can invite your directly. Please refer to our new Grants Management System Training & Technical Assistance page that provides videos and written guides for this process.

After registering, you can manage your own individual profile by logging into the CJC Grants Management System and clicking on the “View/Edit My Profile” icon. You can your position/title and direct phone number. To update your first name, last name, email address, or if you belong to another organization, please contact the Delaware Criminal Justice Council at 302-577-5030 or by sending an email to CJC Grant Support.
